Dear Dulwich parents,

Summer is just around corner, so we might as well start getting ready for it!

I'm currently and mainly working with a local family who is going away and won't need my help during the whole month of July until approximately the 6th of August. So I'll be full time available and as so I'm looking for one or more families who need an extra help on these warm and busy weeks of the school holidays, being open and eager to work also evenings and weekends.

Attached you will find my resume, so please, do not hesitate to get in touch for further details. Local references are also available if requested.

  I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.

  I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
