IN NEED OF VOLUNTEERS!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

I am a photography student and I am about to complete my final project to help me get in to university.

I am taking family portraits (staged & candid). I chose to take family portraits because I find it fascinating how every family is so different and the meaning of family is different to each individual. I am focusing on South London as I have grown up here and wanted to show how big of a variety there is just in one area. I wanted to capture a range of different and diverse families (whether it be just you on your own, you and a partner, a pet, children etc!).

If anyone is willing to participate I would really appreciate it! I am happy to come to your house (if its ok to bring some studio lights i wont be messy!), and if you would prefer to do it in a park or a cafe that would be great too as I need a wide range of experiments!

It will take a maximum of 1 hour :) & I will also send you the photos once the shoot has ended.

Many thanks & I hope you have a good week.

    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
    • I’ve been seeing Lisa at goose green clinic for energy work for a year now.  Lisa is kind, caring and hugely supportive. She is wonderfully masterful and trained as a reiki master for 20 plus years. Alongside other energy work.  My time spent with her is like therapy. An emotional safe space for deep conversations and reflection followed by relaxing and energising healing work.  each experience I’ve had has been different, the end result remains the same. Feel lighter, almost euphoric and almost float home. Definitely an experience not to be missed.  https://www.goosegreenclinic.net/therapies/healing-energy-work/
