turkus
Hello everyone!Spring is here and that means.. spring cleaning!! A lot of things you don?t need anymore are thrown away and end up in landfills, whereas others might find them very useful..Towels, pet bowls/saucers, blankets, tupperware, dog and cat toys are just some things which the Blue Cross charity are always in need of. The closest Blue Cross hospital is based in central London Victoria. It opened in 1906 and has never closed its doors to animals in need since then. Victoria animal hospital treats thousands of pets every year, with treatments ranging from routine neutering to complex operations. They provide their services for people who cannot afford normal veterinary care, such as people on most benefits. The hospital has it?s own facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/bluecrossvictoria/They post on it almost daily, full of useful information for pet owners, ways to help the charity and how they have helped others.Personally, I volunteer there and spend most of my time at the hospital, this is my way of trying to help them more and give back for how they helped me and my dog with kidney failure. Every little helps! They are always in need of cat food and dog food too, any kind. They also have an amazon wish list, if you?d like to help that way. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/ls/ref=aw_wl_sr_res?ie=UTF8&lid=1NSQ3ZXCHAB70&fbclid=IwAR156or56xQ4APowOYAvoRfuMF2bdbjhKph9aVlD_3cqg9NP1Y1wdIa1MKAIf you?d like to donate something and you live close to Peckham Rye station but can?t make the trip to Victoria I could come and collect things off you to take to the hospital. Any questions, just send me a message :)So if you feel generous, you can donate some things they might find useful, donate a ?1 or just spread the word! Thank you for reading.
