Handyman recommendation

Recommended Posts

Yet again another great job done by Vince who over the years has helped in my old home with fitting various fixtures and fittings as well offering expert advice on how to make adjustments to various items to get them to fit impeccably. Vince has been extremely helpful in fitting blinds in my new home as well as being able to tailor them to fit my windows . He always comes up with a great solution to the many jobs I've often given up hope on !

He also assembled all my flat pack furniture in no time . I am sure I will be calling him again for further painting work as my windows are need and he's even more handy as his skills do go far and wide in the trademans area which is a great bonus. He is very polite and friendly and takes care to listen to what needs doing as well tidying up meticulously. I cannot thank him enough for always doing a great job.

He can be contacted on 07951094961

I would also like to add my recommendation for Vince, who's now completed a number of jobs for us including decorating, some simple electrical work and general handyman tasks. I've been very pleased with the quality of his work and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a conscientious and reasonably priced handyman

I was convinced by the recommendations of Vince the handyman to contact him. I needed a bed dismantling so that my new hospital style bed could be delivered to me. I couldn't do it myself because I have MS and use a wheelchair. We arranged that he would arrive at 8.30am. After a text at 8.20am saying he couldn't come till later he ended up not coming at all. He said he was having 'one of those days' - however bad his day was, mine was worse. I can't join in the recommendations, I am very sorry Vince.

    • Harrow.  I wish that I had done more before Covid, including putting my name forward as an executor and seeking power of attorney.  I performed the latter for my later mother, and with no executor named in her will I did probate and executed her will, all very straightforward as financial affairs all in order particularly due to the work of my sister who managed our mother's accounts. But from 2020 onward it was difficult to tell someone who was very frail she needed to change her will etc. There's a further tail about the 'friend' of my aunt who gets around 90% of the estate, and some manipulation of my aunt's finances by this friend.  Police wont get out of bed for a million or so for fraud cases so didn't go to them.
    • Is he local to South London? My father made his solicitor the executive. I, for many years had Lasting Power of Attorney to deal with all his finances including liaison with his bank and payment of his care home fees. I was also responsible for the sale of his home to release funds for care home fees. When he died, I notified the solicitor, obtained the death certificate and organized the funeral, cleared his care home of his possessions . Myself and my cousin were beneficiaries but my father had left a small sum of money to a man in the Midlands whose name was unknown to all of us including my step mother. It  took around 9 months for solicitor to establish that this gentleman had been deceased for a number of years . This obviously put additional charges onto the fees.
