edweller
Ever since the Dog Kennel Hill parking zone was implemented in December 2018 an increasing number of large commercial vehicles and mini-buses, up to and frequently exceeding 3.5 tonnes, have started parking on the still non parking controlled Oglander Road, Marsden Road, Muschamp Road etc. I noticed six vehicles in this category parked within 10 yards of my house this evening. I can appreciate there are far worse things in life to worry about but these long and tall vehicles often park blocking lines of sight for pedestrians and cyclists. They also come and go at all times of the day and the night revving their diesel engines. I am not a big fan of CPZ's but this is getting out of hand. Assuming the Dog Kennel Hill zone is here to stay please bring on the whole Peckham West CPZ (https://consultations.southwark.gov.uk/environment-leisure/peckhamwestparking) and ULEZ extension!
