We are an architecture and interior design practice founded by twin sisters Jayne and Kirsty Mills based in South London. Specialising in high-end residential we have worked on projects internationally and throughout London to create bespoke environments specific to a client - our close relationship ensures a holistic design from exterior to interior. We have completed two projects on the Dulwich Estate and know their requirements well.

Clients can appoint us from concept to completion on a residential build or, a simpler consultancy basis where we can meet for a two hour appointment to discuss your design aspirations for your home.

Please visit www.studiomillsdesign.com or reply to this message to make contact.

Hello there, I run a practice in East Dulwich. We are around 15 strong with 6 Architects, a planner and specialise in Interiors, pasivehaus and New Build. Many recommendations and lots of feedback. I would advise ringing The Estate and initially discussing your scope with the Estate Architect Ms. Adams before spending cash on fees.

Our practice has been going for 25 years, 20 years in East Dulwich. Around 300 completed projects, many awards and press. Completed over 150 in The Estate, we can offer you advice www.rdauk.com

I am also local, with a local studio.

If anyone is looking for a local architect I can highly recommend Keith Whitworth. We have just finished a rear extension and remodelling of the ground floor of our house. Keith designed and project managed the build which has been very successful . He has good local knowledge of the planning process and we worked with a excellent builder he recommended. Just to second what Liz has said above, we worked with Keith Whitworth to do our side extension and new loft.

Keith did the drawings, supervised the build and helped with building regs, party walls etc. He was great, and always put it extra time/effort without any complaint or additional charge.

    • As I understand it Charlie Smith did put himself forward for selection in GG but Labour members chose someone else to represent them, Liam McGrath https://southwarklabour.com/our-candidates/   It'll be interesting to see if there are other defections - surely the Greens want a drip, drip, drip of news from now to May suggesting the momentum is with them.
    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
    • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
