ClareC
My son is in the first stage Maxi Cosi cabrio fix, my daughter in the maxi cosi pearl (9 mths to 4 years) I need to move my son to the next stage soon and would ideally like to put him in my daughters seat and move her into a larger chair (from what I understand the ones to age 4 don't actually last that long) Is this possible or is she too young? Trying to avoid having 2 of the same size seat if possible! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22503-car-seat-question/ Share on other sites

chantelle
The Kiddy brand ia great and they have a model that is stage 2 up to age 12. We love ours and they get great safety ratings. ClareC
Thankyou, daughter is 26 months. She is @ 14.5 kg and quite tall. Not sure of height but know she is @ 75th percentile plus Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22503-car-seat-question/#findComment-531027 Share on other sites
snowboarder
We have the kiddy guardian pro for eldest (had same dilemma as you can imagine) - apparently lasts till they are 12? It did take some hard sell on my part as he wasn't convinced about the impact cushion (OH look - a little table for you in a big boy car seat...WOW...etc). Apart from anything else I feel it's so much safer as he was slipping his arms out of the 5 point harness. Come and have a look... chantelle
Yes that is the one we have too. I think they can stop using the guard thing at 16kg but my 3.5 year old is still happy to use it and never resisted it. Belle
does it strip back to being more of a booster seat type thing as they get older? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22503-car-seat-question/#findComment-531279 Share on other sites
