Garden help

Recommended Posts

Rochelle,

In reply to your post.

I have a small Gardening business based in Peckham and have carried out various jobs around the local area and East Dulwich.

I have all my own tools and have access to a Trade Nursery for all plants, shrubs, etc.

I would be more than happy to pop round to have a look at the Garden and work out a programme with you.A fortnightly basis would be workable.I charge out at ?15 per hour.

Please feel free to contact me and we can arrange a suitably convenient appointment.

Kind regards

Dougie Brace

Hi Dougie

thanks for response. Do you have any references? I should have mentioned that. This is my first post to the EDF, so I'm not very good. I have been so disappointed by 2 potential "gardeners" this weekend (one didn't even show up for a meeting today after putting a flier through the door). I do want some experience and plant knowledge. I'm not sure a gardening business doing various jobs says that? I don't want to waste your time or mine. Hope that's okay. If there's someone in the Bellenden Road/Lyndhurst Way area I can speak to, I would appreciate that.

best wishes

Hi

I am looking for someone to come and do a few tasks in my mums garden to put it to bed.It would be a one off for the time being. It?s just pruning, maybe putting some bulbs in,sweeping up leaves etc.

Is it the sort of thing you would take on?

Thanks

Judith

    • Personally I feel its a shame for the tree. The bridge looks pretty badly damaged-I just hope it does'nt mean the entrance from Dulwich Common/Lordship Lane will be closed for ages while they fix it.
    • This is such a shame for the bridge.  I wonder if anyone saw it fall, and when it was (at night?) Is the walking path through the woods still accessible?
    • Free range chickens &/ organic whole chickens are around £15-20 retail these days…  Given their credentials in hospitality etc I’d assume Norbert’s has sourced decent quality chicken, wholesale. The fact they aren’t saying anything about that on the menu or website seems strange…  if it were true it would help justify the price. Chicken & 2 x Chips - would work out £10.50 a head between 4… not bad if it’s decent quality chicken and seasoned well with care & skill
    • I have no lawn but still trying to get wild flowers to germinate. After a couple of years sowing seeds I've finally managed to produce some ox eye daisies. Still trying to succeed with cornflowers, vipers bugloss to name but a few. A couple of foxgloves are coming up. Its a gradual process for which we need lots of patience. Don't forget after No Mow May it's Let it Bloom June.
