Holidays in Brittany

We are planning a holiday in Brittany this August. We are two couples, two two year olds and a new baby. Any recommendations on where to head?

Most of August is peak season in France. Top prices and very busy (best places could be booked out by now). Last week or so (after the grand rentr?e when the kids are back at school) is much quieter and cheaper.

Quiberon penninsula is nice. Sandy beaches galore.

We are off to Brittany at the start of May, a cottage somewhere Saint Malo and off to Mont St Michel and the Normandy beaches, ending in Paris and the train back to London.

We booked a car off hotwire last night for a crazy cheap price, so check there if you are looking to drive around. We have been looking for a while and I guess it proved that Tuesday nights are the nights to book things.
