Student needed for after school help in Forest Hill

We're looking for someone to look after our two children aged 8 and 10 after school 2 or 3 afternoons a week starting immediately - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For the last year we have had a great student who did the job around her studies which worked really well. Our children are at Kilmorie Primary School, Forest hill and we live 5 mins walk form the school. We need someone responsible and caring to collect the children from school at 3.30, walk home with them, prepare a simple dinner and supervise their homework. Some nights they have activities which they will need taking to and/or collecting from. Our children are full of energy and lots of fun so the role would suit someone active who would enjoy taking them to the park and their various sporting activities. We get home around 6.30/7pm. We're happy to consider someone who is only available short-term (but at least until the start of the school summer holidays) or someone who would like to stay with us into the next academic year Please do get in touch if you're interested. Thanks, Emma

Hi Emma

I might be able to help you with this. I am an actor living in East Dulwich and childcare is one a few additional jobs I do to keep me going in leaner times. My availability isn't 100% over the next little while but drop me a line if you'd like a chat and perhaps we could work something out, even if it's further down the line. I'm available for ad hoc stuff too.

My number is 07814 911 743.

Thanks

Ben

Now we have multiple companies with multiple vehicles making deliveries to the same streets every day, none of the workers are employees with decent working conditions or any job security, and consumers have to deal with x different distribution networks and apps and platforms and drop-off points... https://postandparcel.info/12422/news/uk-royal-mails-monopoly-to-end-on-1-january-2006/
    • That's certainly the narrative that runs ad infinitum on the Forum but I wonder how true it is. Speaking for myself I'm very happy M&S, Superdrug, Pret and, in the last century, Sainsbury's arrived and judging from the business they do I'm not alone.
