Established ED NANNY SHARE looking for families

Recommended Posts

We have a brilliant nanny share which we are looking for a new family / families to join as my daughter(2yrs old)is going to nursery in June

We are based in East Dulwich / Peckham Rye. The hours are 8am-6pm and Jaki picks the children up each morning and drops them home each evening; an absolute godsend for working parents, but if you?d prefer to do drop off / pick up, that?s not a problem.

The arrangement is really flexible with all individual requirements considered.

Jaki has been a nanny for over 25 years, and having grown-up children and grandchildren of her own she is extremely capable and loving ? our daughter has been with her since she was 11 months and lights up when she sees her every morning.

Jaki has looked after lots of children during her career, including babies as young as 6 months; she instils confidence in us as parents and is a great support. Jaki prepares fresh meals (including soft food for weaning babies) and snacks for the children each day, which they sit to eat at the table together.

They have a great routine and all have regular naps for which Jaki sets up travel cots to ensure they?re comfortable and cosy. Each day is varied, Jaki takes them out to parks, playgrounds, local farms, rhyme time etc. They interact with other children looked after by local nannies and do crafts/ play with toys at home ? they had a great summer, spending most of it playing in the paddling pool. Jaki keeps us up to date with pictures throughout the day.

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or for more information.

Thanks,

Ed

    • Posted around 12 cards 2 weeks prior to 24th December. Had some responses so know people have received them. Had about 20 cards - mixture of hand delivered and via post. After years of 'nagging' by myself and our daughters, we may have cured hubby of spending £4 plus on individual cards for our immediate family  ( when you have 12 immediate family it costs a bomb) Also as the girls state, they get put in the recycling bad at beginning of January regardless of cost.
    • There was a LETS scheme in ED and it ran for a couple of years or so. Trying to remember when it was pre 2000?  A couple of friends joined it, one did baby sitting for exchange for ironing, the other did small painting jobs or simple gardening. There was a set criteria regarding credits,
