Is your child struggling?

Recommended Posts

Hi my name is Yvette Peach 🍑, I?m a primary school teacher and mother of two children who struggled with their learning because of dyslexia.I?ve been teaching for 10 years , but have been in child education for over 20 years . My training as a teacher was completed as a more mature learner,so is therefore current. I specialise in teaching children in reception and up to year4 . I support and encourage children with all aspects of their development, building confidence is absolutely imperative to me .i obviously teach phonics , learning to read , writing and maths, however all teaching is tailored to your child?s needs. . I do prepare pupils for the 7+ exams as well .I can provide references from current clients . Any queries please contact me on my mobile 07759590701 or pm me on here . Yvette .

    • I was replying to Jazzer, who said it wasn't going to change Trump's presence here. However, you are also obviously right, and also  nothing will change Trump for the better. And yes, this could be counter productive. But I'm sure the silver tongued Keir Starmer will be able to smooth things over. Not to mention the King and Queen 🤢  I think it's right that people should feel able to make their feelings known. It appears to be  a peaceful and well planned demonstration, and presumably they won't be bringing out the Baby Trump inflatable again, which must be well deflated by now.
    • Its a few years ago now, but I organised my end of year prom (for year 13) at Off the Cuff in Herne Hill - was on the cheaper side to rent and at that age, felt very cool and clubby. I had my own 18th at Whirled Cinema in Loughborough Junction but I'm not sure if they take event bookings like that anymore
    • You are right . It isn't going to change him for the better. Sending such a negative message is potentially counter-productive. Trump is narcissistic, arrogant, unpredictable, spiteful, divisive, and dishonest, with a penchant for a total a disregard for democratic norms.  He is one who bears a grudge so there's a case to be made for not offending him as he could react with a bunch of  adverse actions  such as  deciding to increase import tariffs on UK exports to the US.
    • Unless we don't fly I don't think we can be too critical of the authorities.
