Part time/after school nanny sought from September

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

We are looking for a part time/after school Nanny for our two lovely children, aged 4 and 7. The base hours would be 3.30pm - 6.30pm, 5 days a week (15 hours a week). It would be amazing if you were also able to do an hour in the morning too (7.30-8.30am) to give the kids their breakfast and take them to school (a total of 20 hours per week) but that isn?t essential. We are also likely to be offering some full time (8am - 6.30pm) during the school holidays if that would be of interest. In general terms the role would involve picking the kids up from school, taking them to any after school activities, some supervision of any homework, preparing an evening meal for the kids and generally ensuring that they are safe, secure and happy! We are located in SE22 and the kid?s schools are about a 20 minute walk from our home. Someone who can drive would be a bonus but not essential. Hourly rate TBD. Please PM me if the role is of interest to you or if you would like more information!

    • Did you perhaps use the wrong width driver, and strip off just part of the screws' internal spline?  Whatever, do you think there's enough spline left for a driver to get purchase?  I've a driver with a set containing T4 to T9, T10 and T15.

To have a clearer conscience offset by sustainable and active transport, eat less meat and look for sustainable dog food. Ps I love dogs but never felt the need to own one in London  https://www.ethicalconsumer.org/food-drink/shopping-guide/ethical-dog-food
    • I tried to remove imac computer screen( beneath glass) with torx screwdriver driver, only 2 of ten came out and now the tiny screws are a bit stripped , probably my fault for using a cheap torx screwdriver.  Is it worth still getting a better torx quality screwdriver or should I look at other means of extracting my hard drive?
