Hi there,

Do people know of any good holiday camps running this summer? I know about Mother Nature Science, Nimble Arts, Write Sparks, Jolly Foresters, Dulwich Gallery courses and Stagecoach (all excellent), but I'm sure there are others I'm missing. Ideally non-sporty (although dance or gymnastics are apparently acceptable!).

[Edited to say I see some have helpfully already been posted here: https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?29,2037473]

Many thanks,

Anna

This summer our brilliant PE Teacher & an experienced team are running a holiday club here at the school (Goose Green Primary School) called Holiday Champs - for ages 5-12.

The focus is on a big variety of sports - but with art & crafts available too.

There's options for half days, full days, whole weeks and early/later drop off too.

The playground is really spacious with a huge stretch of MUGA (multi use games area surface / astroturf) and is lovely and green thanks to all our efforts with our well established green screen, and lots of planting.

    • Ah sorry, it was comedy.
    • I have never used AI in my life. It's just notes from my forthcoming monograph on light industry in Dulwich and Camberwell 1879-1946 (dates chosen for obvious reasons).
    • Thank you, this really made me chuckle. It's like you met my brother as he would be the one taking more than his share. Plus the 'pikey' chutney is a winner. Unusual as in can't be identified??? Sadly I'm not the host otherwise I would definitely do that I regularly shop in the Cheese Block and am a fan. But as people have pointed out, there is no cheese shop that charges less based on bulk, so Aldi unusual cheeses may be what the familam receive! Yay, so I can get discounted mouse nibbled cheese still! Oooo, now I do love a Stinking Bishop. It actually offends my stepmum by it's stinkiness but luckily she is not one of the attendees at this particular gathering.  This is blooming genius. It's actually my partner who has the biggest issue with buying in plastic so I will have to hide the wrappers from him!
