Summer is here and with it comes the chance to update your wardrobe for free!

Join us on Saturday, 29 June and trade in their gently used clothes for new-to-you items.

Here's how it works:

-Sign up at summertimeclothingswap.eventbrite.com and bring along all of your friends - the more people who come, the more choice there is!

-Dig out and bring along up to 5 pre-loved items that you or your family no longer wear.

-For every piece you bring, you'll be able to pick out one piece to take home with you.

-If you find more pieces that you like than items that you brought, you can purchase additional items by taking action with Labour Behind the Label.

-Enjoy your new-to-you items in the summer sunshine!

Here's what you need to know:

-Everyone is welcome!

-Registration isn't required, but is encouraged.

-This event is FREE because we want to encourage everyone to learn more about sustainable and ethical choices in fashion. If you would like to support this work, please hit the 'contact organiser' link below.

-The venue is fully accessible via a lift.

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
