Dear Parents,

I am tutor with 6 years experience living in Dulwich and my company Kids First Tutors is providing an intensive 11+ and Secondary Prep Summer Course from July 22nd - July 26th in Battersea. For more information and to book please visit www.kidsfirsttutors.com or call 07816 078 028.

Many thanks, Phil

Course outline:

Perfect for any student going in to Year 6 or Year 7.

This course will develop your child?s confidence, skill and ability in English, Maths and Reasoning as well as Exam and Interview technique. Whether your child has the ISEB and 11+ exam coming up in the Autumn/Winter 2019/20 or is about to move from primary to secondary this September, our course will prepare them and equip them for the challenges ahead.

The course is written and curated by Kids First Tutors Cordelia and Phil, two experienced private tutors who have a combined 10 years experience preparing students for the ISEB pre-tests, private school 11+ entry exams and working with ages 5-18. Their students have gained places to a wide range of superb schools including St Pauls, Westminster, Alleyns, Dulwich College, JAGS and many more.

Over the course of the week your child will learn how to master comprehension, unlock their creative writing potential, understand the codes and patterns of verbal and non-verbal reasoning and unravel the most complex maths problems. The course will take place at a school and there will be both collaborative and individual work with small tasks set for homework each evening to consolidate what has been learnt that day. What we teach will not only help your child to pass exams but give them invaluable skills in analysis, critical thinking, creativity and problem solving, which will be vital to help them achieve throughout their academic life.

CONTACT PHIL OR CORDELIA ON THE NUMBERS BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION AND BOOK YOUR PLACE VIA THE BUTTON BELOW.

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
    • Nice topic and nice song!  1) Definitely top of Canonbie, looking North. 2) What used to be Francesca Cabrini school at the top of FHR. 3) Honor Oak playground, next to Camberwell New cemetery.
