Bumper starter library of books to keep a child entertained...

Including Julia Donaldson favourites - plus tales of Angelina Ballerina, hardback Sophia the First, Hairy Maclary with read along CD, Winnie the Witch, and even a book about how baby rabbits are made...

The 6 Marks and Spencer Fairytale First Readers follow the National Literacy strategy and encourages reading together by offering simple sentences for a child to read alongside the main story - which they gradually learn to read themselves.

  I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!

  Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
