Fantastic place available in East Dulwich nanny share 2 days/wk from start of July

Recommended Posts

A fantastic opportunity to join our amazing and established nanny share in East Dulwich.

Our nanny Shar (Sharlayne) will have 2 days available in the share (Thursdays and Fridays) from start of July with scope to take on additional days in the next 3-6 months. Our daughter has been part of the nanny share for the past 15 months and has been offered a PT space in a nursery which we've been on a wait list for since she was born - hence we need to take it but we'll be staying on with the share on a PT basis over the next few months.

We would highly recommend our lovely nanny Shar to other local families - she's really kind, nurturing and fun. The kids love her and she makes a huge effort to bond with them and ensure they're having fun, and she's very communicative throughout the day. Most days in the share are varied - they tend to spend most days meeting up with a couple of other local shares, so there is lots of opportunity to meet other babies/toddlers. They do trips to the park, local farms, rhyme time etc. And when it's sunny the babies tend to spend most of the time in the paddling pool! There are 2 families in our share (one 1 yr old and one 2 yr old, with pick up and drop offs of a 3 yr old brother as well. In terms of location the share is mainly based just off Crystal Palace Rd in East Dulwich (nr Lordship Lane).

The hours are 7.45-6pm and Shar can potentially do pick up and drop-offs in ED depending on location, which is really helpful for working families, but if it's easier to drop off and collect then that's fine too. She will provide meals and snacks and work with the families to accommodate nap times etc - it's pretty flexible and they have a great routine.

Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions or Shar can be contacted directly on 07948612863.

    • Strange isn’t it…..other European countries s actually come up with solutions to house homeless people, which are pod structure, use of office blocks, etc. homeless are provided with thermals, warm sleeping bag and tent or pop up tent plus tech friendly clothing which means they are warm in extreme conditions. Us in UK? Nothing but chuckinto house of multiple occupation, which is usually not warm and not all have mould, but some do.. live in one room even if you are a family with good only knows what other sort of people…  not referring to ethinicity here but more along the lines of mental health problems, drugs, alcoholics. Single and families all in one property. Or if you are one of the lucky ones, into a hotel you go…   Why don’t we as a nation claw back more money in the form of tax  or avoidance avoidance, off shore accounts or other ways that rich or investors do buck the system….
    • Hello! I’m considering buying the demise for the loft-space above my flat (facing the classic renovate or move scenario for an additional bedroom or 2). Has anyone had recent experience of buying the demise from Southwark? Interested to know how they’re handling the premium/valuation.  thanks!
