Based on Dulwich Picture Gallery's current exhibition, Ragamala Paintings from India: Poetry, Passion, Song ?My Family In Miniature? invites you to photograph, paint or draw your own miniature artwork depicting your family and loved ones ? anyone and everyone from your great aunt to your favourite pet!


The winning entries from each category (5 ?10, 10 ?16 and 16+) will be chosen by Ian Dejardin, Director and by public vote on the Gallery?s Facebook page. These artworks displayed during a Late Night viewing.


PRIZE


The winner will receive a free place on one of the Gallery?s award winning art courses and be featured in an article in the South London Press.


HOW TO ENTER THE COMPETITION[/b]


Artworks must be of no more than A5 size.

Please email a photograph or scan of your artwork with your name, age and contact details to [email protected]

All entries will be displayed on the Gallery?s Facebook page and online at www.dulwichonview.org.uk

Entries will be entered into a public vote

The closing date for the competition is 30 April 2012

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan. 
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
