As part of Community Energy fortnight, SE24 and SELCE are are hosting a celebration of all things sustainable energy in South London.


The event is to showcase, celebrate and to explore what else we need to see from community energy groups, new and existing, to tackle the dual problems of the climate emergency and fuel poverty. Confirmed speakers include local MP Helen Hayes as well as representatives from Southwark and Lewisham Councils who will providing an outline of their response to their climate emergency declarations. In addition:


- SE24 Community Energy will be showcasing their latest community energy project on Walworth Methodist Church

- South East London Community Energy and Repowering will be launching their latest community energy share offers.

    • No problem. I think it is also worth saying, in light of the recent Panorama programme, that we, at No-Flies, are completely independent and do not have referral arrangements with solicitors or surveyors. We believe that both buyers and sellers should be free to make their own choices on who they wish to instruct - though we are happy to provide recommendations and will try to warn people off firms with whom we have had previous bad experiences. 
    • I'd support fining any tourist wearing a 'I ❤️ London' t-shirt, 'University of Oxford' sweatshirt or Union Jack bobble hat.

    • Had a Red Admiral in front driveway today. Hadn't seen one for some time
