Sorry for yet another nursery thread, but I've searched and searched and can't find any previous feedback on the Upland Rd branch of Mother Goose nursery - have read plenty of lovely things about the Greendale branch, but would really appreciate any feedback from current / past parents with little ones at MG Upland Rd.

I've been to look around, and whilst the interiors were a little on the shabby, I liked the fact they had numerous different spaces, and I loved the outside space - my son would adore helping to look after the bunnies! I also really liked that some of the staff have been there for many years.

My son would be going 3 mornings a week from the age of 3 (that is, assuming I can secure a place... but that's for a different thread!).

Any feedback would be much appreciated - thanks in advance!

    • Well I don’t approve for a shop doing the same food to open so near - just wrong in my opinion. Why not go to the village, Peckham - foot fall would be great in Peckham and certainly more multi  cultural than ED. Village has money but doubt foot fall would be as good as ED.  At least they could have gone to the stretch leading up to Peckham Rye or why not bottom of Barry Road?? Or even North Cross Road I for one, on principal won’t be going in.
    • Heh yeah haven't even bothered to remove the emdash. The OP is AI slop as well.
    • The street directory is on Ancestry and you'll need a subscription to access.  It's reasonably easy to navigate though you have to find the page you're looking for by a combination of trial and error/guesswork.  https://www.ancestry.co.uk/imageviewer/collections/61265/images/47056_263021009499_1592-00159?usePUB=true&_phsrc=Soz1793 There is though also a general search page for London directories where the street name can be entered in the keyword field and results will take you to the specific pages. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/search/collections/61265/
