Cycle to raise money for King's College Hospital Charity

King's Collge Hospital Charity have just 10 places out of 75 left in this year?s Nightrider Event on Saturday 9 June and the deadline to register is this Friday, 20 April. If you or anyone you know would like to sign up to take part, you can do so at www.nightrider.org.uk and select King?s Health Partners (together we can) as the charity.


- Our team of 75 riders will set off from Crystal Palace at 11pm and follow a 100km circular route past over fifty of London?s most famous landmarks, some of which include Tower Bridge, a deserted City of London, Canary Wharf, Hampstead Heath, London Zoo, Piccadilly Circus, British Museum, London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Royal Albert Hall and Battersea Power Station.


- The cycle will be entirely on roads for ease of access and quality of lighting. It will be clearly sign-posted so participants can cycle at their own pace. Full support and back up will be provided.


- Places cost just ?39 and we ask for a minimum sponsorship of ?175 per rider.

      Looking for a bakery which sells baked goods with fresh cream - are there any?

      Thanks all!  KateS - boulangerie Jade is a nice cafe, but they don't do fresh cream cakes. Their eclairs are filled with patisserie cream (a kind of custard), not fresh cream. Azalea- thanks and I've been to Bunhead Bakery (a Palestinian bakery) in Herne Hill a few times. There's a nice chocolate bun they do, which is amazing when then sauce is warmed up. But I haven't seen any fresh cream things there, only white icing. Maybe it's only on a certain day.  And the last time I checked, Ayres bakers in Nunhead don't do fresh cream things. These are the kind of fresh baked goods I'm thinking of....

      Bag of powdery substance found in children’s playground

      Warning to parents using the playground in Dulwich Park. My daughter and her friends found a bag of ‘crunchy powder’ in the children’s playground this morning around 11ish. They thought it was ‘popping candy’ and all tried some before seen with it. Request to parents using the playground - if you see plastics bags with suspect looking contents or powder on the floor in the playground or park: pick it up and throw it in the bin. Don’t walk past and think someone else will deal with it. The next person to walk by might be a child who could pick it up not understanding what it could be. Hopefully our daughter and her friends will be ok and it’s a lucky escape. But please be aware in case anyone else’s child may have found it before them.

      I’m looking for some ply sheets, ideally 9mm or 12mm. It doesn’t have to look good. As long as it’s not rotten it’ll be fine. I’d like bigger sheets, but I’m open to whatever anyone’s got. If you can help, drop me a DM.  Cheers

      the only known name is from that poster in the window where it says to email [email protected]. I thought that website might shed some light on who is creating the posters I hope whoever was attacked is doing ok, but agree there is something very off/vigilante-ish about all of this
