bilateral hypertrophy of the masseters and masseter to palpation???

occlusal amalgam which is mildy TTP and grade 1 mobile???

buccal tenderness???

DPT showed no periapical pathology ???http://www.depin.info/appleipad.gif

There was a distally ungulated, unerupted lower 8 - distally ungulated???

DPT???

the apices of which crossed the superior boarder of the inferior dental canal???

Temporomandibular joint disfunction

Micro leakage of occlusal amalgam - I assume this means possible filling leak.

Thanks

Were you copied into the letters? If so, it is reasonable to go back and ask for them to be translated so that you can understand the letter. This is obviously also the case if they were written directly to you! It is actually quite poor practice to write in jargon if one is sending the letter to the patient/service user.

Clinical staff have been great (if you can get an appointment) but apparently the Practice has a ‘new system’ in place. You can’t phone for an appointment, you have to go ‘on the app’ and request one. GP will review the request at some unspecified point and decide whether to offer you an appointment . My experience of using the app hasn’t been good and I’m a bit horrified that folk can no longer arrange appointments by phone or by walking in. I’ve also had them lose referral forms, and had to chase them multiple times over a simple GP letter. This has never been my experience in the past so it’s alarming. Anyway, I’ve asked to be included in the Patient Participation Panel, so I’m interested in the experience of others, good & bad? Feel free to PM me, if you prefer!

    • Based on what I’ve seen, you can get yogurt in small glass jars from milkman now if you miss those.  Butter and bread is also available.  One of the dairies has fresh bread from a bakery in Brockley, but that bakery also do their own deliveries which I had been thinking of trying.
    • Of course you also had lot's of local diaries. My grandmother had a job as a milkmaid in Camberwell when she was young!
