Pine chest of drawers, National Geographic Wildlife Decoupage

Solid pine upcycled 5 drawer chest of drawers. Every image has been selected from National Geographic magazines and painstakingly decoupaged. Each drawer has different species of wildlife.

The bottom drawer from the deep blue see all the way through to the sky above on the top drawer. The counter is covered in big cats and the sides with massive trees and wildlife.

This unit is both fun, educational and functional. I've converted the drawers to safety drawers (will not fall out) so your little ones won't be in danger.

It has been given a slight aged look to it and is finished to a professional standard with three coats of varnish and further sealed with a hardened plasticoat matt finish. I much prefer matt finish as gloss tends to deflect the decoration on decoupage.

Splashproof and easy wipe clean. Handles are dipped in eggshell white primer so you can either paint them a colour of your choosing, or simple leave as they are.

My ethos is to upcycle from 100% recyclable materials that were either being discarded or destined for landfill.
