2 x Layezee single 3ft mattresses.

Only had light use and have been covered with mattress protectors whenever in use, but the cover of one suffered water damage when in storage.

Very cheap and basic when new, 20 years ago, and they feel like you are sleeping directly on the springs.

They are due to be collected by the Council w/c 15 July but they might just come in useful for throwing in the back of a van when going to a festival or surfing. Or if an unwelcome relative is coming to stay.

  I didn't have any problems with plane noise until city airport started flying planes to and from about 5-8 minutes apart from 5.30 am or 6 am, and even with ear plugs and double glazing I am woken at about 6 well before I usually would wake up. I have lived here since 1986 and it is relatively recently that the planes have been flying far too low over East dulwich. I very much doubt that they are headinbg to Heathrow or from Heathrow. As the crow flies we are much , MUCH closer to City Airport than Heathrow or Gatwick. I even saw one flying so low you could see all the windows, when I was in Peckham Rye Park.

  Camilla's sinuses are playing up again, so she's missing the Duchess of Kent's funeral this afternoon, but plans to 'participate fully' in the Trump visit. Mmm. She wouldn't, would she? An afternoon bent over a washing-up bowl of boiling water and Olbus Oil, with a tea towel on your head should clear that up. Maybe a dab of Vicks on your nightie tonight.
