Knight & Sons

I booked Paul to come and collect some bush and tree cutting from the garden and when he arrived he saw that it was too big a job for him (my fault).

However, he gave me some brilliant advice on how to get rid of it and wasn't annoyed that I had wasted his time. I would definitely use him for any further work we need doing as he is an honest, nice guy. Would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs a job doing. His number is 07756 935 261.

I would also like to recommend Paul Knight of Knight and Sons, took away everything that I asked him to. He was both punctual and really helpful.

I would strongly recommend him for any waste removal, especially if you need it done urgently. His number has changed to: 07985104027 and email: [email protected]

Another recommendation for Paul. Absolutely superb service and used him 3 times now to take away loads of mixed building waste from the refurbishment of my flat.

Straightforward, easy to deal with and charges a fair price. Having been mucked around by clearance contractors previously, Paul was a pleasure to deal with.

Fully recommend. As stated above his phone number is now 07985 104027.

Will use again.

    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
