French speaking nanny/mother?s help needed from September

Recommended Posts

Hello

We are looking for a French-speaking part time nanny / mothers help who can help look after our 6 mo and 2 yo.

We ideally need someone who can do x1 full day (8am-6pm) and x2 afternoons (2-6pm) on a Mon - Thurs. The exact hours and days are open for discussion.

Our 2 yo will be at nursery from 9-3, so the role will mainly involve looking after the 6 mo, plus some light house work (eg. emptying the dishwasher; folding laundry; preparing kids meals). Mum will be at home for some of the time, so the care will be a mix of sole and shared care.

We are looking for someone who is a French speaker. Must be fit, active and have plenty of energy and imagination.

There is the potential for this to develop into a full-time role for the right person.

If you are interested or know anyone who might be, please do get in touch.

Many thanks

My name is Anouck, I am a friendly French 18 year old, looking for an au pair / live-in nanny position, starting September 2019 for six months. I have plenty of experience working as a baby sitter for children from 2 months old to 9 years old. I am looking for a live-in position and to improve my English during my stay.

    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
    • I’ve been seeing Lisa at goose green clinic for energy work for a year now.  Lisa is kind, caring and hugely supportive. She is wonderfully masterful and trained as a reiki master for 20 plus years. Alongside other energy work.  My time spent with her is like therapy. An emotional safe space for deep conversations and reflection followed by relaxing and energising healing work.  each experience I’ve had has been different, the end result remains the same. Feel lighter, almost euphoric and almost float home. Definitely an experience not to be missed.  https://www.goosegreenclinic.net/therapies/healing-energy-work/
