Moving abroad furniture sale - sofa, dining set, TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers etc.

Hi,

We are moving to Australia in a few weeks and therefore selling all of our furniture. I am posting the big stuff here, but we also have many other bits such as hoover, kitchenware and utensils, and many photoframes. If there is anything in particular you are looking for, please feel free to message me. Collection from SE23, or I can deliver smaller items for an extra charge.


- Grey corner sofa originally ?2000 from Next. Used but in good condition. Selling for ?500 ono. We are moving out on the 9th August do ideally collection around that time.


- Coffee table with side drawers. ?15.


- Ikea dining set. Perfect condition. ?50.


- 42 inch Panasonic HD TV. ?100. Available from 3/4th August.


- TV unit. ?10.


- Ikea kitchen trolley (we have used as a cocktail trolley). Has a few marks on surface. ?40 including wooden wine rack. (Some of the glasses also for sale).


- Ikea floor lamp. ?20.


- Ikea bookcase. ?5.


- Bathroom under sink shelves. Painted grey. ?10.


- Bedside tables. In poor condition, will be fine with a lick of paint. Free.


- Ikea Wardrobe and chest of drawers. Wardrobe ?80 and chest of drawers ?60. Perfect condition.


- Kitchen shelves. ?10.


- Vintage side cabinet. Distressed to a "shabby chic" look. Can also include sander. ?50.

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
