The UKIP candidate was interesting, he said he would take the highways away from the 33 boroughs and have just the one rule for all of London. That made sense to me as someone who rides all over London a lot! But I still won't be voting for him!

Strangely appealing, as long as I can use my own bike. They could also remove the escalators and turn them into hills so it's not boring.

Oh, I dunno. If you look at it creatively you could introduce those family bikes with the trailer or tandemiser on the back that kids love, and rickshaws that you can use for free if you give a less mobile person a lift. Imagine the benefits of people getting healthy while forming relationships with other people in their community. Also huge potential for advertising revenue on what are now blank tunnel walls, which could be used to help maintain the system and keep fares down.
