There is a Black and White Cat (Green Collar)that seems to of taken up residency in my back garden.

I'm on Ulverscroft Road and my garden backs on to Crystal Palace Road.

It sits mainly on my shed all of the day. Even when it is raining.

It never seems to go anywhere to eat ?? It is very thin. It does not Purr of Meow.

It stares vacantly into space and does not respond to noise. Not even the recent Thunder.

It does occasionally approach me and allows me to stroke its head and under its chin.

When it was very hot it found a place in the shade but lay there for hours. All day.

I do not know if it is ill. It has wondered into my house, had a nose around and left.

Anyone missing such a cat. ???

Hi - Is he (?) still visiting you? He does look in a bit of a sorry state in that photo. Do you think he is a stray?

I'm at work in the mornings, but would be happy to come over one afternoon to see if we can get him to a vet (I can bring a carrier and can walk him over).

Cat has not been over today.

I think he lives on Crystal Palace rd. 184 or 176 ish

Thank you to all concerned.

I have Tracy's details. Will keep you all informed if cat returns.

I'm concerned something may of happened to its owner.

I'm sure it was a cat that used to visit me some years back.

It looks familliar but older.

DulwichFox.

Cat has been in my garden all day.

Tracymcdavis has just been to see him/her.

She is happy cat is OK. Bit old and a bit thin

Tracy brought some Whiskers Filled pockets and a Sachet of Salmon which the cat seemed to enjoy.

Not sure if cat is being fed elsewhere. ??

I've been over to see the cat this afternoon and I'm satisfied he's not a stray. That photo really didn't do him any favours though!

He's pretty old I would say so a little thin and frail - but clean, has a new collar, and the fact he goes somewhere else at night I think points to him going home. He just like's DF's sunny garden!

His eyes look really gummy in the photo but if so, they've been cleaned since then. He has a little scratch on his nose - but mine come in regularly with a lot worse.

DF - if you think his condition does get worse, you have my details, and I'm happy to take another look.

    • Point taken..I go 3-4 times a week and have done every week for several years however £115 a month is still a lot of money for many people (myself included) for a 'non essential' One can if one wishes excersise by running or Cycling, swimming once in a while. Gym membership IS a luxury...
    • Tawny owls are hooting in Dawsons Heights very near me. But very elusive birds. Sadly now on the amber list.  I have heard the owls every night for the past couple of weeks  It is good to know they are here. They are quite loud so I think they are very near. I have never seen an owl in the wild before and wish I  could  see them.
    • Hi, looking for a 3-4yrs ski jacket if anyone has one they no longer need or would lend if they want it back for younger siblings in future years! Many thanks
    • I used to hear at least one of those owls but haven’t for at least two years. 😕
