some members are just stupid if you need some one to come in to your home you do NEED references. some people never stop amazing me and green ranger your one. good luck with add lilly123 i hope you get one

Ideally you should ask for at least 2 references - and actually follow them up. Think ahead of the questions you would like to ask the referee - time keeping and illness are two I have found telling for this type of job. Also ask if they are still working for the referee, and if not, why not. You may assume that in a domestic job like this if there are issues of theft or dishonesty etc. a real referee is unlikely to give any reference at all, or at the least a very guarded one.
