Tart closure due to water work

Does anybody know when Tart will be able to reopen?

I really miss them for Saturday lunch :(

I hope Thames Water are compensating them, assuming that Thames Water are responsible for their closure.

The length of time it's taken is ridiculous! Poor Tart, I miss them too.

Hello sue yes it is taking longer,than first thought.its because the main work that needs to be done.is below the tile wall within the shop.the problem is the tiles are grade 1 or grade 2 listed.can't be pulled down.as far as I'm aware.local heritage people are in evolved.the wall needs to be supported.from within the basement.where the main sewage pipe is cracked.

I feel sorry for the staff, who presumably have had to be laid off due to the closure.
