Hi all,

We're at 17 Gilkes Crescent, SE21 7BP and clearing out the following FREE stuff...

We'll be open house tonight and tomorrow (Wednesday/Thursday) between 6.00 and 9.00 in the evening for collection - no need to text or call. [if you do need me I'll be on 07500 952288 or [email protected] but won't be picking up/replying except at at lunchtime and after 1730.]

Steel wire storage rack (IKEA), two shelves, suit bathroom or kitchen

2x 2-drawer filing cabinet, Ash wood effect, IKEA

1 canvas framed IKEA wardrobe, very lightweight, shoe storage, hanging rail, small item storage, shelf

Beech wood effect IKEA storage unit (80 W, 80H, 40D with 10cm legs if needed)

Kids storage shelves, white wood, unit is shaped like a house, kind of cute, used at the moment for both kids' shoes

Bronze effect standard lamp

3 x framed pictures

Orange bar stool, adjustable, needs reupholstering

Office chair, black, worn and need reupholstering, swivel, wheels, adjustable

  Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
- Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.

  Was anyone else disturbed last night/early hours this morning by the party going on in someone’s garden on Crystal Palace road. Can’t see what house exactly but it’s around number 43 - 41… it was happening quite frequently last year. Seems it’s starting again! Very inconsiderate.
