This is on Cycleway 1 (Quietway 1 as was) at the junction of Lynton Road and Dunton Road. See here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/dr-bike-on-cycleway-1-as-we-are-supposed-to-call-it-now/. Cycling commuters to East Dulwich probably pass this way, so take a look out for us at the lights. It seems to me that the weather is totally unpredictable but at the moment the forecast for Thursday is good. Map attached.

Our professional mechanic will fix noisy, jumping gears, and tighten brake and gear cables. He can also give wise advice on bigger stuff and refer you on to our twice-monthly maintenance plus tuition service on Tuesdays. There's one on the 20th and the one after than is September 3rd https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk/events/free-bike-maintenance-with-hands-on-tuition-8/

All this is free and (I hope) welcoming. These events are organised, staffed and paid for by Southwark Cyclists from our own earnings. We are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign which campaigns for cycling provision in London. Our website is here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk and you can contact us on [email protected], tweet us @southwarkcycle, reply here or text me on 07842 640 207

    • Between Herne Hill and North Dulwich gives you good options for transport. You have the line into London Bridge, trains to Victoria and the Thameslink into City Thameslink. Plus it's not too far from Brixton tube.
    • Wow - will do as you say - just find it extraordinary one needs to post something so trivial as this on forum - each to their own. Been a%member for a long time and know the-forum well - bought sold, given things way, had hubs and offered advice…
    • You do know that this post is the reason that forums exist? So that people can ask for help, advice etc.  I'm not sure what "...daughter of mothers"  means but if you mean friends, not everyone has friends, or is confident enough to ask other mums at the school. Oh and you it's nothing to do with your age -  be kind, be helpful or if you can't, leave it to someone who can.
