Need Mac IT help

Hi having not recently worked in an industry that requires much in the way of IT skills I am feeling a bit behind and I am looking for someone who is very proficient in Mac computers to assist me with cleaning up and updating my iMac and my MacBook Air before I begin a course next week. I was hoping a student or someone who may still be on summer holiday may be able to assist me one morning or afternoon for a reasonable hourly rate.
