Contact me for email pictures of this marvellous blue green architectural plant in a large grey green pot. I have cared for this plant for over twenty years. It is very easy to look after and withstands winter weather outside. They live for about 80 years before flowering once then dying! It would love to go in the ground or you can keep it in the pot.

It has lethal spines so is not suited to homes with children! If you fall in love with it and want to take it home you will need to sort out the logistics of moving it. You will probably need a van and two people. Currently housed in Nunhead close to the cemetery. Priced at ?45 which is less than the price of the pot... An absolute bargain.

  I think it should be brought back into public ownership. However, I admit that that is not based on any facts at all, just on my dislike of shareholders making money from a business which doesn't appear to be doing what it's supposed to do.
