Carpenter Recommendation - Philip Quinn

Posting a recommendation for a really good carpenter in case anyone is looking for one as we were recently.

We found Philip Quinn who has build two good size built in wardrobes for us. Phil has been really reliable, happy to discuss exactly how we wanted the wardrobes to look externally and the interior to be laid out. The results look very smart - our walls are all out so getting them perfect has not been a straightforward job.

Phil's number is 07701 097779.

A big plus one from us for Philip Quinn - he's been doing some work for us lately: built us a fitted TV stand that boxed in unsightly wires, has also boxed in our boiler and is currently extending our kitchen table-top.

Phil's been friendly, professional and conscientious. We've been around the house a fair bit and he's also very easy to talk to!

His number is 07701 097779. You can also some great examples of his work on Instagram where he is listed as thepeckhamcarpenter - https://www.instagram.com/thepeckhamcarpenter/

    • I’ve been ordering from Butter & Crust now for 5+ years and it’s a brilliant service. The bread is fantastic as are the selection of pastries, milk & butter. The apple juice is also incredible and you can change your subscription to what suits you - I opt for every other week ☺️  I have a voucher if anyone wants to try, you get £10 off your next order with: HANNAHM_2
    • Yes, thanks, that's true, the previous information on here might be out of date even if I could find it. I was hoping someone on here might have up to date info. I will phone them in the morning.  I had a previous thread on here about the Oxfam book shop but for various reasons I haven't been able to get stuff down there, and now I just want it out of the way.
    • Best to call them. What might have been the case last week may not be now. There's also Oxfam book shop in HH
    • Because it's easier to ask on here than have to make a special trip out when I'm very busy and also expecting deliveries 🙄 And then possibly have to go out again with the books. And I thought I remembered a previous discussion on here. Isn't that what a local forum's for?
