Hi all

After an extensive search I've come to the conclusion that my daughters black Maxi Scooter with yellow handles has been taken from our car boot. Not sure when I last saw it but it's nowhere to be found and we do sometimes leave car unlocked by mistake so I guess it's possible. That or she left it outside but that's not like her at all.

We and she are gutted.

Just posting to say if you happen to see one like this for sale locally please let me know as it may be ours (& it's marked so I could check).

PS I know we are chumps if it was coz we left the car unlocked...it's the getting dogs, kids, bags etc etc etc thing. Hubby a bit absent minded professor about these things but to be fair I've done it at times too.

I'm raving mad inside but trying to just let it go. Gah!

Nah. We've all done similar! I had a "Pink & Pretty" Barbie that I loved when I was 7 yo. We turned the house upside looking for her for a week. My mother thought I must have left her at the shop or school, but I was sure I'd never taken her out. After a week of looking, my lovely mother bought me a brand new Pink & Pretty Barbie... and directly after returning from the toyshop we spotted the old one on a bookshelf behind a door. It was hilarious!! I still got to keep the new barbie, and my mother and I still laugh about it to this day.

    • It's like that most of the time.  Like many, I can only use it at certain times due to work hours and the queue is always out of the door, that said it does tend to move pretty quickly.  Think I was in and out in 25 mins last time which I would call a success! Don't mind Sue, think she woke up on the wrong side of the Post Office queue this morning!

    • Interesting, because I've been going throughout the past few years with different sets of kids and the parents i'm with have always said it's cold. Also spoke to a couple in passing the past weekend and one even said that's why she never brings her 18 month old because it's too cold. Thanks for your feedback. Maybe it's the room temperature that's throwing me off. But the showers are way definitely way warmer than the pool itself.
    • Twice this month I’ve used the PO upstairs at the old WH Smith’s in Forest Hill. Very helpful and efficient with no long wait. But it’s sods law with post office queues, you just never know.
