Salia's tale brought back memories of my experience 19 years ago. "triple blood" test came back with a very high probability, amnio at 16 weeks "didn't take", had CVS at 20 weeks undertaken by the wonderful Dr Nicolaides. This was when his Nuchal testing was in its early research days. All was fine, although conception date and due dates didn't make sense at all. Beautiful daughter was born one week late, but all staff thought she looked approx 3 weeks prem. Now a wonderful 19 year old, who has brought nothing but joy to my life.

I can still remember the cold sweats, panic and utter fear I underwent, specially as by the end she was kicking and I was very obviously pregnant (2nd time round). Can't imagine what I would have done if things hadn't been OK....
