fapl
What you need is a copy of the Australian Women's Weekly Kids Birthday Cake Book It shows you how to make all the numbers with regular cake tins.It is the updated version of this which I poured over as a kid. It has things in it that kids today wouldn't recognise such as CRT televisions and typewriters. I bought this original version off ebay for nostalgia reasons and my son loves reading it as much as I did :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/23686-anyone-have-a/#findComment-548151 Share on other sites

cazbee
fapl, you have just brought back many happy memories of that book! My Dad is a veteran of the Australian Women's Weekly Kid's Birthday Cake book and recently turned his skills to a Hello Kitty Cake for a friend's daughter's first birthday. I've tried to attach a photo. I think he bought a large rectangular sponge from a cake shop and cut out the face shape.
