Charming basement space in East Dulwich

Hello, we have a Ground floor/basement space available in lovely 4 bedroom family house in East Dulwich.

Two large double rooms one features a lovely fireplace with all period features and is the larger of the two. The other benefits from lots of natural light and backs directly onto the garden a nice place to study and work. You have your own brand new fully fitted bathroom complete with toilet, bath, shower and sink. Plenty of hall space for storage as well.

The property features a lovely old English green garden which you have direct access too from the basement. This would work well for pet owners and I would be more than happy to take on someone with a beloved pet.

The Kitchen is the only shared area but has all the mod cons - oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine Dishwasher. The house itself is very artistically done full of books and items from around the world. It's very much a home nothing clinical about it. We both take great pride in making it the best it can be.

A little about the two of us, (Emily and Theo) early 30s couple both hard working professionals, Very house proud and constantly striving to improve the space so it?s the best it can be.We have two cats Phillis and Milo who are both lovely and friendly so expect ample affection from both. If your not a fan of animals probably not the place for you.

For anyone who doesn't know the area- East Dulwich is a picturesque and cosmopolitan area. We are spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants bars and coffee houses. Well connected with transport links, buses, trains and tube. East Dulwich station is 15 mins and north Dulwich 10 mins , Kings college hospital is a mere 15 mins away with the 185,40,176 just 5 mins from the house. I commute to Shepherd?s Bush everyday I?m just under 45 mins.

?1000 including all bills starting viewings this week.

Hi Emily and Theo,

My wife Kat and I have just bought a proper doer-upper in East Dulwich and are looking to move to the area whilst the renovation works are taking place in order to supervise the build closely. We?re both in our mid 30s and have full time jobs in the city (references available). We don?t have children yet, or pets (though we love having them around) and neither of us smokes. We are looking for a rental in the East Dulwich area from mid/end-December till July. If we sound like your ideal tenants then please get in touch on 07515100531. We are in the area this Friday after 6:30-7pm.

Thanks,

Rahul & Kat

    • Hello, I have seen several reviews written about Piplings Nursery from a number of years ago now. I would be keen to hear from any parents who have dealt with them more recently as we are interested in sending our son there.  Many thanks!
    • I wondered if anyone has tried an N Family nursery, particularly the new East Dulwich one but interested in reviews more generally? What are your experiences?
    • My last paragraph was relevant. I was in central London having a meal with family on the same day as the recent large right wing march. The date of the  meal was arranged before it was known about the march, and the venue was convenient for one of my brothers and his partner, who had travelled down from the midlands and had a hotel and theatre tickets booked near the venue. It was just up the road from Trafalgar Square, and my partner and I were seriously concerned on the way there and the way back that we would encounter violent people from the march. Luckily we were able to avoid this, but as I expect you will have read, several police officers were injured, and a friend of mine was amongst a group of counter protesters who were hemmed in by marchers for hours, which was obviously very frightening. The group had to be protected by police before they were finally able to get a safe passage out. Therefore, I don't think my last paragraph was unnecessary at all in the context of when I personally feel unsafe in London. I am not "going through a bad patch", beansprout, not am I "having a bad day ". Nor do I need to "get things off my chest". I am interested to know how you think I have "totally changed my tune"? Could you give some examples from before and after I "changed my tune"? Perhaps you would like to come and discuss your opinion of me face to face? I am very easy to find. I run gigs and Singarounds locally with my lovely partner, and we have organised two Forum Drinks, with a break over the summer.  We will be organising an October meet up soon, so perhaps you would like to come to that, if music isn't your thing? You could take the opportunity to meet some other forum posters as well
