These guys were recommended by my plumber who couldn’t fix an issue in my bathroom but said he was impressed with Down the Drain.

I can’t speak highly enough of their drain clearing services.
They were punctual, professional and polite. Worked systematically to pinpoint the source of my issue and explained the problem and potential solutions clearly along the way. Compared to the previous time wasters that attended my home, Down the Drain use the latest camera technology and cleaning tools. They also have a comprehensive understanding of drainage systems and regulations in houses and purpose built blocks and provided me with a full report.

Highly recommend Dave and Dave from https://down-the-drain.co.uk/

    • Adding a recommendation for Andy, who just did a job for us hanging heavy mirrors and pictures in our house. He gave a clear and fair price, works very tidily, made sure that I was happy with the work and placement of the pictures and is very pleasant to have around.
    • In what sense? Be more specific  (and I have worked in retail and hospitality)  nothing I said is in any way anti-retail as far as I can see  Out of interest and for comparison, which country do you think gets it right to a significant degree?
    • The root of all these problems is that the model of capitalism pursued in this country for the last 45 years has failed utterly. It’s only true beneficiaries inhabit an ever decreasing circle of have-lots in a sea of have-nots, defended by an increasingly squeezed band of born at the right time boomers, which surely cannot hold.
    • I'm talking about parts of the country economically deprived, some that never recovered from the loss of traditional industries. But in your point, yes, there are those that are never happy.  We should be reasonably happy in this area.
