We've just had 12 victorian sash windows by Scenic Glazing in our Herne Hill flat. Paul has been fantastic, from is immediate response to my initial enquiry through to the choosing of options, quotation and fitting done over the last three days.

They look fantastic, both inside and out. We were nervous about going for UPVC instead of timber but definitely made the right choice - they look very authentic, you literally cant tell the difference unless looking very closely. We did have a quote from Bespoke Dulwich (who were also excellent in their service) the but they were significantly more expensive for the same identical product.

I beg to differ, the plastic ones look like they have stuck-on glazing beads and they haven't even bothered to replicate the arched corners of each main sash panel. I much prefer the original timber windows downstairs and in the adjacent property...

Blimey, do people really, I mean REALLY think this clunky marketing guff floats?

Basically it says that if you don?t look to closely, we can convince you you?re getting the real thing.

I?m mouthing ?go away? from the other side of a sealed unit.

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village of "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think thise areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
