Do you need a personal cook who is producing delicious dishes of your choice in your own kitchen?

I am a local mother who works as a personal chef for clients in the East Dulwich and Dulwich Village area.

My clients are families with children and city workers who juggle busy schedules and have no time to cook, but

like to come home to wholesome, home cooked meals of their choice.

Some ask me to cook dishes from my own wide repertoire, others like me to cook specific recipes from their cook books.

From soups ,salads, casseroles to cakes, stews and muffins. - you name it, I make it!

From shepherds pie, Bolognese, lasagne to chicken coujons, German apple cake to Brazilian moqueca - everything is possible.

Excellent , contactable local references provided.

I operate from Monday - Fridays during daytime hours, minimum call out : 4 hours.

I have the keys for some of my clients' homes and cook while they are at work, while other clients who work from home are in as I work in their kitchen. People email me the dishes they would like me to produce and I email them the ingredients needed , to be ready in place for the day I come cooking. Other clients have the ingredients and the open cook book with the dishes they would like me to produce on their kitchen counter as I arrive.

If you are interested please contact me via private message on East Dulwich Forum. During a change of circumstances for one of my clients, I have an opening of 2 days per week available now, starting from the middle of November.

I am also able to carry other additional personal assistant tasks such as filing, paper work, booking tickets, flights, taxi, letting deliveries or contractors in, ironing and organisational tasks.

    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
