Chamber Players is a summer music course for all ages (school age) and abilities (Grade 1 and above) of string players. Pianists are also welcome, but need to be grade 4 -5 for the junior course, and grades 7 -8 for the senior course.

It is held at Sydenham High School, and runs from 20th-24th August this year.

There is a junior course in the morning, and a senior course in the afternoons. The junior course is ?100 for the week, and the senior course is ?120 for the week. Some scholarships ar available for families who may need assistance with the fees.

The tutors are all highly respected chamber musicians and teachers, and are chosen for their experience in this field, as well as their enthusiasm. Many of whom teach at the Junior conservatoires.

The course starts with a concert given by the London Cellophonic, and all pupils are given a free ticket to this. The course finishes with a fantastic concert, where all pupils -and tutors take part, and performed what they have been working on during the week.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
    • Reeves says she's in charge and no no's Rayners plan, what happens now?
