Mid-century serving plate from the 1960s by J and G Meakin of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, in the classic 1960s apples and pears design.

Approximate dimensions - 32 cm x 24 cm at widest points.

There is a small amount of crackling in the glaze commensurate with the age of the plate. No cracks or chips. There is a small dent in the underside (see later photo) where the plate would have been propped up for glazing/firing.
