nunheadmum
Bechenham Spa does classes for pre-schoolers run by proper gymnastics coaches. Used to be on a Monday afternoon. Did them with my eldest and she really came on in confidence. Starts to teach them too about following instructions and taking turns etc. And parents wait outside - used to love my quick coffee! Pickle
I've been taking my daughter to Beckenham Spa for the last year, as Nunheadmum says the classes are on Mon (2 - 2:45pm) and my daughter loves them. The coach is very "old school" and demands a high level of behaviour from the children, which some of the parents don't like, but it has been great for my daughter and I really like her approach. We will miss it when she starts reception in Sept. Adam
Crystal palace national sports centre also has classes for 3-4 year olds on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons which strike a nice balance between fun and learning Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/24153-gymnastics-classes-for-3-year-old/#findComment-555665 Share on other sites
nunheadmum
Is it still Jan and Amanda doing it - I thought Jan was giving it up? Almost tempted to pop back and say hello. Sure A would love to - they were so nice and encouraged her so well to do things she didn't think she could! Pickle
Yes, still Jan and Amanda, Jan tends to make noise about giving it up most weeks but I think she's the type of person who will keep it up until she's in a nursing home! I'll be back with child #3 once she is big enough and I'm sure Jan will still be there.
