Do you think the Tories won't bankrupt the country then?

A lot high rollers have already scarpered, it's what they do regardless who's in power. One of the UK's richest men, Jim Radcliffe, big Brexit backer, fooked off to Monaco not long after the referendum.

When public companies were nationalised we were told no jobs would be lost as workers would simply move sideways from public ownership to private. Why should it be any different in reverse?

Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
