Recommendations on builders to refurb my flat

Woodcrest

Hi

I am taking possesson of a new flat on 03 December; and am looking to refurb it. New kitchen, new floors, move a wall, new kitchen and bathroom, as well as then paint it once completed. Can anyone recommend a good builder for quality work and is also good at sticking to the timetable they originally set out.

This will be a rental flat so looking to turnaround the whole project in a reasonable period of time.

Thanks.

For painting I would recommend Bluepoint - they just completed our loft/dormer/bedrooms/bathrooms to a very high standard and fair priced too.

Anthony ultimate professional. Highy recommended.

    • You have to use the right extinguisher for the type of fire - water/foam not to be used for live electrical fires for example. A quick Google says powder extinguishers can be used on the most different types of fire. In a public/commercial setting fire extinguishers have to be serviced every year. Not sure the recommendation for residential ones, but when you buy extinguishers and fire blankets check if there's an expiry date.
    • Thanks, yes I need the y piece for the water to go to IN both washing machine AND the dishwasher but the y piece doesn’t fit on the B yellow pipe…  I’m not worried about the waste pipe for now, I’m just concerned about the supply to get water in to both appliances
    • Not sure about the word “input” - do you mean outflow / waste ? Red figure A looks like the sink overflow. If B is the washing machine outflow then that’s where you want your Y fitting. ( assuming all above conjecture is correct). I’d put a cap on that chrome threaded dead connection too. Don’t just rely on the valve. It all looks a bit of a mess TBH 🫣.
