Hello EDF,

I've recently moved in to this area and I'm looking for some extra tuition for my kids, both at junior school locally. I think they could do with some extra help with Maths and English and the eldest is coming up for secondary entrance tests etc.

Does anyone know of a good tutor locally?

Hi

My name is James and I'm currently an A level Maths student (17 years of age) and am predicted to get an A in the A level overall by the end of the next year, putting me in good stead for tutoring maths. For English GCSE I got an A in English Literature and Language so I could tutor your children in these areas, and help your eldest secure the best possible score in the secondary school entrance tests.

I've been teaching in several different capacities for about 2 years now, both teaching large classes of 12-16 year olds in the army cadets or teaching 1 on 1 so I have some variety of experience to draw from. Currently only have 1 student, so my rate is pretty low, at ?5 an hour and once my college closes for the summer my hours will be really flexible and will be willing to commute.
